Amazon is f**king amazing! Wenger should sue the bastards!

This may seem like old and regurgitated news but it needs to be said. Again and again if necessary!

Amazon are selling a song where Manchester United's supporters sing a sick chant about Arsene Wenger. Most of us who have been to Old Trafford in recent years know the song and in my view it is a fucking liberty that anyone would sing it, let alone buy it!

If I was Arsene Wenger I would sue the bastards. We know he won't. He is too dignified for that. But the simple fact is it's disgusting and immoral.

You can leave complaints on Amazon's site but you will probably get the same amazing response that others have received. Then again I suppose that freedom of speech is far more important than the nature of this sick chant.

The sick fucks and Amazon should be punished for this. Will they? Of course they won't. Arseholes.

Leave your complaints on http://www.amazon.co.uk/Manchester-United-Chants-Explicit/dp/B002IU6RE8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1251753168&sr=8-1

Keep it Goonerish............

  1. I’ve also emailed Amazon & I’ve asked them to delete my Amazon account & remove all my personal details, as I will never use them again. If you have an Amazon account please do the same.

  3. Yo Wrighty

    Couldn't agree more, it stinks!

The club, the fans and the boss should complain to the police, they want to penalise us, well i say they should also 'protect' us - the boss that is...

Great news about Chelsea though :P

It's hard to remain positive, the boss has to listen to this gutter stuff so often, its not right - don't forget too that its boring international week and there is little to be up beat about ;)

I won't be using Amazon again until they do what is right and remove the offensive 'stuff' from sale - I think they will eventually have to buckle under pressure and loss of sales.

From reading around, many fans will be following suit, so lets hope it really affects their income..

  8. I too have decided to suspend further use of the site until this bile is removed, Manu fans would do the same if there were chants about Munich, utter crap Amazon.. Come on, get your shit together

  9. Hi,

I know that you may not want to answer me and i'm being a bit naive but what is the nature of the chant (i genuinely don't know) because it may well be against the public order act, also if there is explicit language it should be labelled as such......there's more than one way to skin a cat (or in this case a faceless corporation).

  10. Sadly mate you can listen for yourself on some of the sites

    ReplyDelete
  11. well lets create a chant about the munich incident and we'll see how manu fans react to that shit.

so for the mean while, lets all sing

    "fuck manu fuck amazon
    fuck manu fuck amazon
    fuck manu fuck amazon"

at the tune of track 4
    at our next game.
we'll make it a mp3 and distribute it for free for all arsenal fans.
We are Arsenal. We need to stop letting fkers bully us.Let our voices be heard.COME ON YOU GOONERS.

  12. Really great to see that loyal Gooners are individually taking it upon themselves to cancel their Amazon accounts, as have I. The best, most effective way to make Amazon see sense is to organise a formal boycott en masse. Spread the word. Bring banners to home games promoting this. TV cameras will pick these up. You will soon find that in this recessionary economy companies will more readily protect their bottom line rather than their 'principled stands' on free speech. Make Amazon hurt- tens of thousands of Gooners CAN make this happen.PS: my understanding is thatPlay.com have backed down on this already? Is that the case?

  13. Radio 5 today did an item on the story today. Amazon must not be allowed to claim their policy is a matter of 'freedom of speech'. I e-mailed them today and informed them of my disgust at their attitude. I will do no further business with them. It is important to hit them financially. Such a morally bankrupt attitude cannot be allowed to continue. Boycott Amazon and make sure to tell your friends. Recommend their competitors at all opportunities.

  14. Ur right, you can google it on play but the link won't display. It's still there on iTunes, looks like you can even sample it! Looks like it's on a few smaller sites. Who published/produced the cd?

  15. I am an i phone user and the same album is available through i tunes so this is bigger than we think

  16. Do not email a complaint via the link in the post, it will just go through to a customer services advisor.

I just had a call from one of them telling me that if we want this matter dealt with seriously we should send our complaints to the following email address:

    managingdirector@amazon.co.uk

  17. There is freedom of speech and there is profiteering. Freedom of speech is for those who wrote and recorded these tracks. Profiteering is advertising, making generally available and selling them. As such I do not believe freedom of speech is a relevant excuse. If these chants were of a racist, homophobic or other nature I am sure they would not be made available on Amazon and as such I am deeply dissappointed with Amazon's continued defence in the name of Fredom of Speech

  19. Just because it is not of a racist or homophobic nature it doesn't mean that we can do nothing. If it causes harassment alarm or distress then it is against the law unless it has the relevant warnings etc on it

  20. i can't view the product anymore? i just reviewed it and now it seems to be gone? maybe just my computer but hopefully enough people have complained to have it taken down

    ReplyDelete
  21. Not just yours, its gone. I just create a facebook group but it seems to be over! We won! Well done fellow gooners!

  22. Apparently amazon seem to think it's ok because it's not illegal.

With that attitude can we then assume that if there was no law against selling child pornography, then they would be quite comfortable doing exactly that?

What amazon is telling us is that they are company without moral fibre, and on that basis alone they should be slagged off by everyone and to everyone, which would damage them in the only manner that would have an effect on them, on their sales.

They have obviously become too large and self-important.

Time to take them down a notch or three?

  23. Now to take down iTunes!!

  24. We beat you amazon!

  25. To be fair Amazon has shown some class here. They can't be expected to vet all their products and they have acted and taken the product away once they sussed what it was. Credit where due...

    ReplyDelete
  26. Surely a chant is the same as saying something such as, in this case, an accusation that is untrue. Now I've got no legal background, but I that sounds like slander to me, something that can be prosecuted by law, and I'm certain that amazon by knowingly allowing such slander to be transmitted can be prosecuted for it. Any legal eagles out there who might like to comment on ths.

  27. All, let's keep this simmering on the agenda until something is finally done about it! The Mancs, the FA and the police have got to do something..
I'm disgusted about amazon's attitude, I got the same stock standard letter as well and have decided to cancel my account.
All this stuff has got me thinking however - i really have to also steer clear of some of those more nasty gooner chants (usually about cashley)....

  31. Good stuff guys ... They ve taken it down ...

    AWESOME!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Lets do the same with ITUNES AND PLAY.COM

    ReplyDelete
  33. AW and Arsenal should sue this mob, but good stuff guys they've taken it down.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Agree with you. Isn't paedophile a crime? This is defamation and making money at the same time by Amazon. I had said this before in another blog: GET A GOOD LAWYER, SUE THEM FOR A BILLION POUNDS.

As for Man Utd fans, if they do not stop, we can start to sing about munich to them.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Apparently when I click on it it says Error 404 page not found

  36. It gets better.

I've just learnt that Brian McBride (?) who sits on the Celtic board is also a director of Amazon UK.

Now, I'm not suggesting for one moment that this guy was a prime mover in the Eduardogate thing. Or that he has an axe to grind with Arsenal. Or that he would even think about influencing the Amazon stance on "censorship" of the disgusting paedo song.

I would NEVER suggest such a thing!

  37. im a arsenal fan but wat is the chant they where singing by the way

    ReplyDelete
  38. As a Utd fan, I couldn't agree more with you. Various times when this song has been sung, many of us have told people to shut up, don't sing it etc. Guy in front of me complained to stewards etc, nout was done. It is a minority who sing it, and the more Utd fans like meself who tell these megastore twats to fuck off, hopefully the song won't be heard again.

  39. If it's not true so it does not pain and worry about that because the real thing that always true about Le Boss and team is great than MU and MU's fan that always is cheating.
