Ade not in it for the money? Play for free then!

The Adebayor situation took yet another twist when his agent, Stephane Courbis, insisted that that Adebayor is not greedy and that Arsenal need to make more of an effort to hang on to him.

The cheeky bastard!

"It is vital that Arsenal show their motivation to keep him,"

"There has been a love story between Adebayor and Arsenal and his relationship with Arsene Wenger is based on trust and respect.

"If this was a money problem, then he would have asked to leave.
"He is a man of heart, not of money. He is not greedy."

Those were the wise words straight from the horse's mouth. I'm sorry mate but you have a fucking cheek.

What can Arsenal do to show their motivation to keep Ade? I know, how about match the ludicrous offer that you claim Barcelona are offering our super striker. Is that all you want? How about we change the name of The Emirates to the Ademirates?! Fucking hell the audacity of it!

There is a love story between Ade and Arsenal is there? More fool you pal. Half of Gooners before this sorry affair wanted Ade out a long time ago, the other half have almost converted into the first half. Confused? Me too, almost as confused as the other day when Ade said he wanted to stay and then he wanted to leave.

The relationship with Wenger is based on trust and respect? Who needs enemies with friends like Ade? I'd trust him, like shit. As for respect, where was the respect for Wenger when announcing that if he didn't get his pay demands then he would go somewhere he could. Who was Ade before Wenger snapped him up? A nobody. Nice respect shown there Ade.

He is a man of heart, not money? Then why go through all this shit then! It's all about the money dip-shit. Ade said it himself! If it isn't about the money then play for free. Ade has enough money already to go without, so play for free for a year then you might earn a little respect back from my fellow Gooners.

Ade has proved he is a greedy git. I was one of the Gooners that supported him believe it or not. I'm sick of him now, and I know that we would miss him but he is not bigger than Arsenal. Arsenal will go on with or without him.

Keep it Goonerish........

  1. if he's not worried about £££,what the fucks his problem then?!! isn't the fact that arsenal took him from Monaco after scoring like one goal in about a zillion games, and put him on the world stage proof enough that he's "wanted".and whats all this shit about "planning for his retirement" at 24 years old! wanker!!

  2. It's all money, who thinks about retirement at 24 when you earn the money he does? I'm 25 and haven't thought about it yet, and I only earn £13,000 a week, peanuts! ;)

  4. arenal are a good team, you lot play some good football, this guy is just testing the water, saying things like "show how much they want me" translates to "show me how much money your willing to pay me and i might stay" forget him. He will never be a consistently good striker anyway

  6. Fuckin hell, his agents up there with Hleb's fucking agent! Ade's shown no fuckin respect to us fans, our club or the people running the club. I want him out, I'd rather have a striker that don't do half as much as him, but stays true to the club, it's colours, it's people and most importantly it's fans. He hasn't done any of this, fuck it, sell him for £30 mil, get a player that truely recognises and respects our club for it's quality, both on and off the pitch, and doesn't slate it for having a fucking payment plan. I've had enough of him.

  8. Sell him. As you say Wrighty, who was he before Arsene signed him?
The ungrateful cunt. Head has grown too bigmate.

  9. How can you say he is greedy? He only wants £120,000 a week. I earn that in a day.

  10. He is not greedy. I am greedy.

  11. if the Catalan mugs are willing to pay £30 mil for a striker who's had one decent season, please take it Arsene and i'll personally drive the prick to the airport, because i don't believe he is worth that. if Rvp can stay fit this season and we can buy another proven striker i.e santa cruz, then we will still have a quality strike force

  14. nice article
"Ademirates" would be a fitting tribute i think lol
to be honest, (this wont blow anyone away) but i think its the fault of these agents
I know adebayor has caused a lot of these problems himself, but he seems to have changed his tune over summer.
He was the one who pointed out how wenger believed in him when he had a crap goals record at monaco etc. earlier in the year; then his agent got a hold of him over summer and put all these extra ideas in his head it seems

  15. I must say I do agree with his agent in regards to one thing. He says if we want to make 30 million off him, if we rate him at that, why don't we pay him like a 30 million pound player...Hard to argue with that one.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I rate RVP a £30m player, but I wouldn't pay him that

    ReplyDelete
  17. So what does that say then anon 19:27...Are we a club of sellers then?

  18. It seems like it at times mate!

  19. Must be said I think all this bollocks has come about cause of his cunt agent with his choice words. It seems either we pay him what he want or this Courbis cunt will work a move for him. Fucking agents all wheeler and deelers.

  20. Yeah agents have gotten out of control, no doubt about it. I reckon there time will be short, all clubs are feeling there grubby hands. This won't last.

  21. he's not paid as a £30 mil striker because he's NOT a £30 mil striker! we all know that, he's just a good striker who improved a lot last season and now believes his own hype.He now thinks he can hold us to ransom because some desperate Spanish chairman wants to buy him.If they are stupid enough to pay it then take it, because he has shown his true colors and they're not red and white !

    ReplyDelete
  22. I agree with you Matt. But we are not selling him for 25 million, so we obviously rate him at 30 million. Personally I don't want him anymore, he's gone too far. However there is a point there that he gets paid more like someone worth half that amount.

  23. I think it's more a case that wenger can smell barca desperation so if he's going to let him go he wants to squeeze as much out of them as possible,i.e anelka to real madrid.don't get me wrong ,if he had shown some loyalty and produced again next season,i would be all for him getting a massive deal, but he's a two faced prick so fuck him !

    ReplyDelete
  24. If he really wants to leave then let him. Barca have allegedly offered £24.6M for him. So if Ade really wants to go there, then he should:
    1. Request a transfer thus lose any further entitlement to his contract remuneration
    2. Personally make up the balance himself (or get his twat agent to cough up) to Arsenal £5.4M to satisfy the £30M price tag.
So if he’s serious and it’s not about money, he has the option to go and we can get someone (with a kitty of c£33M) who cares and will be more consistently better!

  25. It's painfully obvious that letting any disgruntled player stay does more harm then good, if we have ever learnt anything from the summer sagas of Vieria, Henry, and Cole. Their performances will be substandard, the fans are not behind them, and it's a downward spiral. Let him go. Let Hleb go too.

  26. The reason why we should flog Ade to the highest bidder:

  27. players are never paid according to their transfer value. Their value clearly changes year on year as they get closer to expiry of contract.
Anyway .... Arsene should get a top price for him and get shot. He's fucked us all around

  29. Greedy cunt ade! Just go, u sucked for the second half of the season and u were only lucky to score that many goals with mostly tap ins!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think the problem is that agents seem to think fans are moronic goldfish with three-second memories. They have a really, really poor sense of PR. I mean, if they put away the bullshit and told the truth - Ade wants more money and will leave if he doesn't get it - then people would accept it. But these crap about loving the club? Very silly.

  31. HAHAHA! Show him the money?! I'll show him the EXIT DOOR INSTEAD!!
