He must be irritating Manchester City fan's as much as he did us by now!

A few years ago a film starring Sarah Michelle Gellar called The Grudge came out. I won't lie, that film scared the shit outta me. There's a part when this little Japanese woman/ghost crawls out from under the duvet and it petrified me. I couldn't sleep for days.

Why are you mentioning The Grudge I hear you ask? Well, I know somewhere along the line a sequel was released and I never watched it. The first one scarred me for life, I'm not stupid enough to watch the second. But I hear a third could be released soon. In fact it's out already. It's called;

The Grudge-Adebayor V Arsenal!

Now I never hold a grudge. Grudge rhymes with fudge and I don't like fudge. Despite disliking fudge and it rhyming with grudge that is not the main reason I don't hold a grudge. I don't hold grudges because it's simply not worth it. It's sometimes better to let go and this is something Adebayor is finding very hard to do.

Again and again Adebayor mentions Arsenal and us Gooners. It's an obsession and this obsession cannot be good for his health. I don't really care about his well-being but the way he goes on it will eventually take its toll and Adebayor will become ill.

According to the latest Adebayor thinks that we believed he was a terrible player. I'm one Gooner who never thought he was a bad player. In my whole entire stinking existence I've always said he was a great player. The only problem was that he is a terrible person with a bad attitude.

This attitude will soon become apparent to Manchester City fan's. I'm pretty sure that he is even beginning to piss them off already. The explosive early season form has gone and the fact he keeps rambling on about Arsenal, and how he never wanted to leave us, must rankle around the City of Manchester stadium.

If Arsenal had just spent an absolute fortune on a player and he didn't stop whinging and going on about his former club I'd begin to ask questions about his desire to play for us. Surely that must be going through some of City's fans minds now?

Some people have agenda's and I believe that Adebayor has one with Arsenal. We have let go but he clearly can't. The only time I, or most other Gooners, mention him is when he has another little pop or when he declares how he never wanted to leave.

I won't lie. An Adebayor who is up for it and focused is a great player and would be a tremendous asset to any side. An Adebayor like City are seeing now is the one that we saw last season. He will do it anywhere.

I guess its not Arsenal's problem anymore and for the mood-swings and pettiness I'm thankful. It's City's problem now and I remember several of them coming on here to gloat when we sold him to them.

But I wonder if they still feel the same? I know if I was in a City fans shoes I'd begin to really think and ask myself some serious questions about Adebayor and his loyalty to my club because he has made it pretty clear he never wanted to leave Arsenal.

Keep it Goonerish.............

I think both parties are obsessed with each other.

I see Adebayor headlines and skip right over it.

The number of Arsenal fans still writing Adebayor stories 4 months after is amazing.

Are Liverpool fans for example this obsessed with say Michael Owen?

I'm just happy not to see the offside flag 30 times a game..

Get over it guys!! He's a lazy bastard....end of!

he's a great player?

how many chances does he require to score a goal?

have u ever seen him dribble pass a defender?

He has the lousiest first touch in the whole of the Arsenal Team then.

He has 0 ball control skills.

His passing both in decision and execution is the worse in AW's era.

All his goals for Arsenal were NEVER repeated because it was LUCK. He is a flukey type of player. He needs the moon to shine on his ass to be score.

'Nuff said.

yes, we have already move on but ade is like an ex-lover that refuse to go away no matter what, still talking about us constantly.

and changing his stories to make it sound as if he's this saint of a man. First he said arsenal needed money so he went, now, it's because arsene just didnt want him. He should at least get his stories right first before telling it to the media.
Kind of like how he used to say he wanted to stay at arsenal in a press conference then a couple of minutes later he said he wants a move to acmilan.

Just talk about his parents in turn and he will zip-up.

I'm a city fan and I admit I looked online this morning and saw headlines:

"Emmanuel Adebayor: No Regrets For Goal Celebration Against Arsenal"
&
"Manchester City: Adebayor in new Wenger outburst".

Not even bothered reading them. I'm unbelievably bored by it and am still irritated at how our 4-2 victory over you lot was COMPLETELY overshadowed by Adebayor's antics that day.

However, as with most players, if they do the business on the pitch I don't care what they say off it. Need a quick return to his early season form. He has the ability to be a 20 goal a season man so I expect nothing less.

as a city fan i agree he is being a bit of a tool, and i wish he would just get on with it and back to his early season form

but these articles do rear their ugly head during international week and most of the time it is desperate journalism... with nothing to print, u can imagine journos looking for a story to think "lets go as ade another controversial question, then print ANOTHER story about it in the hope it riles some people"

i think we can accept that Ade aint the brightest cookie and will keep answering the questions in disregard for its impact of both sets of fans, and it gets REALLY boring

i do not except some of the stupid comments by arsenal fans that he was a bad or LUCKY player... i saw enough of him at arsenal and in his first few games for city to know his qualities. and fair play to urself as the author not to get sucked in and remember ur true opinion

Ole Gunner's simply wrong, as usual.

The simple basic FACT is that whenever an Arsenal blog writes about Ade, it's IN REACTION to some new comment he's made in the media, some new story in the media about him mentioning Arsenal (yet again).

It's perfectly natural for Arsenal blogs to write IN RESPONSE to a media story about Arsenal. If Ade stopped talking about Arsenal, there would be no more articles on Arsenal about this scumbag.

Oh, and btw, Ole Gunner's one of those fans who attacked those of us who criticized Ade for his attitude last season, made loads of excuses for him and refused to believe that AW would sell him or that he was a disruptive influence in the dressing room.

We were proven right, the blinkered unquestioning fans like OG were wrong.

ese latest stories are from a magazine interview that is probably a few weeks old.

Its been picked up by lazy hacks as these International breaks are sooooo dull and the hacks struggle to meet their deadlines.

The whole Ade thing is way in the past for me. and the fact that City fans are already hoping he can get back to his early season form should worry them... I thought he would at least show an interest for half a season at least.

They're not new stories though. They're old ones being regurgitated - just like this article.

I think everyone at AC Milan will be so relieved that they didn't get adebayor. Everyone at Arsenal definitely happy that adebayor left and we got 25M for him. Everyone at city were bathing in crude oil until after two months adebayor dropped a lit match in their oil tank.

For US GUNNGERS the world goes on. Adebayor obsessed with the past. Man city need to start worrying now. One striker plays a couple of games like ronaldo of yore and turns into a grumpy old woman and one striker who looks lynched wants to retire now then another striker wants to go to barca (hope he gets a pig's head chucked at him by the madrid fans)and bellamy the bellicose might just kill some poor staff at the club for pissing him off.

Finally when ashley cole kicks the bucket he can rest in peace knowing adebayor beat him to the most anathematized ex gunner.

FOR US GUNNERS THE WORLD GOES ON.

u gotta love the irony of calling somebody obsessed with their club, before proceeding to spout his opinion, generated by being naively taken in by media purile, about several players from another

well done scotty

Love him. Ade is a GREAT player.
Shame we're managed by a manager who wants to recreate hit and hoof football with good players. Still that's another matter.

I don't understand why your all you Gunners are SO obsessed with him. Still each to there own.

I wonder whether your racist anti Ade chanting and shouting will be back for the League Cup 1/4 final? I was frankly ASTOUNDED in our first game this season at what came out of your end considering how many non-white players are in your side.

Shame really I always want Arse to do well in comparison with the other top 4.

BlueAnorak;

Look, I know it must be hard for you to differentiate the 2 songs ans they have the same melody.

But, for the 1000th time, Arsenal fans did not sing the Elephant washin lyric, it was the Arshavin version...

Then again, its mighty rich of a City supporter to take the moral high ground considering your "fans" sang that elephant version when we played you last season...

It is a despicable tune, sang by twats; ie spuds & Mancs, etc.

Who wants a million pound bet Cuntebayor will bottle it & not play in the Prem match at the Emirates in April? 100% yellow-bellied wanker! He's giving it large now but will be like a little mouse when it comes round.

City should nicely settled for a Europa Cup place by then.

As a city fan, I can't see where this Adebayor has gone off the boil stuff is coming from, he's been injured and suspended since the Arsenal game, and is only just getting back to full fitness - give the lad a break!
Got to agree, the media are re-hashing his words for the sake of something to write, together with the fact he does talk too much about his last club, he'll get over you Gooners in time.
I'd like to say I've thoroughly enjoyed watching the Arse play in the Wenger years, (except when you beat us!), but I do believe we will eclipse you in the next few years, because of our boundless wealth - hopefully we can do it in style.
Best of luck in the future chaps, you probably don't understand what it's like being a City fan, when all of a sudden it seems everyone hates you, we'll try to keep our sense of humour intact, I suggest you do too!

Wow he's really got to you. the quotes this week were taken from zoo weekly.which says it all. You guys crack me up though he scored 30 goals in a season and you say they were all down to luck hahahahahahahahaha

guess you'll have to make do with that dirty rapist van ratman

as a city fan im just glad hes sayin it as a city player :) because im sure all you gunners fans deep down would love ade in your team!

their is no doubt he is one of the best strikers in the premier league and yeah he speaks about arsenal but obviously thats what the press ask him questions about mostly. he can only answer what he is asked!
arsenal will always have a place in his heart like he has said before.

cant wait for the quarters at our place its gonna be a well good game, adebayor hat-trick and a big slide on his knees infront of you cockney bastards again!!! LOVEEEEE ITTT!!! CityTillIDie!!!

I'm a City fan and I hated him before he came to city. Still do to be honest. He just doesn't shut up. Its relentless and nonsensical. A very scewed view on factual events. He thinks that if he manipulates the facts to his advantage one day he'll convince everyone. Not going to happen.

he's got all the symptoms of narcissism and should be treated for it. Only then will I show some sympathy for someone who earns £130,000 a week and still feels hard done by.

As a City fan I am astounded at your obsession with a player that clearly felt unloved and with no support at your club (despite his very significant contribution) but is it really any wonder he wanted out when you get to read the constant nonsense from your fans.

The racism and hooligoonerism of your fans gets you right up there with those other cockney seventies throw backs Millwall.

Shame about van Persie though. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving turd.
