Well Played Leyton Orient. That's The Magic Of The FA Cup!

Why am I not pissed off?

We have just drawn against a side that are two divisions below us and I am not the slightest bit annoyed.

In fact, and this is a proper fact, I was more annoyed when I rolled in dogs shit during my Sunday league match earlier than when Leyton Orient equalised.

Maybe the romantic side has come out in me. The romance of the FA Cup has a lot to answer for.

What a result for Leyton Orient. They get a replay out of us and earn a few more quid too.

Who really can begrudge them that? I know I can't.

The FA Cup can be more magical than David Blaine at times and today was a perfect example.

This will mean everything to everyone associated with Leyton Orient FC, and you can tell how much it meant to them at the final whistle.

How often will these players get the chance to play at a ground like the Emirates?

How often will the Orient fans get the chance to watch their team at a ground like the Emirates?

That's why the FA Cup is special.

Well done Leyton Orient. You deserve all the credit you get.

Keep It Goonerish...........

Well done Orient. Almunia needs getting rid of.

One save to make all game and he F**ks it up. Even Wenger must see now that he is not good enough.

Fair play to Orient they never gave up although overall they probably didn't deserve a draw.

Bang on Wrighty... Every season the F.A Cup has its magical moments, first there was Crawley Town, and they done themselves proud yesterday, now Leyton Orient have produced another major upset. Well done to 'em, they deserve their week in Vegas now! Can't begrudge them their moment of glory.

Happy for Orient but it's another fixture we could do without and another couple of weeks of Barry Hearn talking complete bollocks unfortunately.
Miguel looks a good prospect though but Almunia is still a clown. One shot to save all afternoon......

I agree Wrighty, well played Orient, congrats.

Looking to be a cracker of a game at the grove.

magic my arse! god help us if twitter boy in goal gets injured and we have to rely on that clown in goal today. he had two things to do all day and he fucked them both up. the first minute he fumbles a week shot on goal and the last few mins he lets down the team again. no one wanted him in the transfer window and we all know why. wenger must recall mannone and send the clown to the circus where he belongs.

It's not Miguel (mig-WELL). It's Miquel (mi-KEL), no matter how the idiots on ESPN pronounce it....

Yes well done Orient but yet again Wenger makes wholesale changes and yet again we fail. That second 11 of ours have shown this season they are not good enough to beat lower league opposition. They've need the big players to bail them out every time but for some reason Wenger didn't bring on a sub after they scored despite there being 6 mins left including injury time.

Agree completely with you Wrighty. Also good to see Miquel finally get a game.
After a couple of similar results recently from the second 11 ( Leeds at the Ems & Ipswich away)it does bang home how this line up lacks any real creativity in mid-field though.

Arsenal will never win any trophy if almunia plays. Just so glad Sczscesny was keeper against barca instead of him. Wenger is bonkers to keep him, worse than the L.Orient keeper.

I think Orient deserves a draw; they defend well; they play a passing game. I would say they scored an Arsenal type of goal. If it is Nasri who swerves past two defenders and shoots between the gk's legs, you will have nothing but praise for them. So we should praise Orient.

The B team is pathetic in many ways; not only do they play disjointedly, they lack energy and spirit. Wenger also is guilty of not making substitutions after Denilson suffers a tackle, SQuillaci being hit by the ball on the head...etc. Let JD and Cesc play for 15 min and we are home and dry.

Now...

As to Almunia, blame him not--it is a nice shot at goal by that french guy tehoue....

Will anyone please address the elephant in the room, how on earth are we gonna get beyond Manure in the next round when they always seem to get a poxy ref and all the fifty/fifties ???

wrighty, nobody seems that worried by the result and fair play to the orient, they played the game with good spirit and gave everything within the rules.
maybe now we can finally see why the trophy cabinet is empty with a few who played today being regular starters for the past number of seasons in the premiership and the champions league, and lets face it, they are really not up to the mark and never were

Arsene Wenger needs to address the lack of depth the team has. I reckon Aaron Ramsey will be back in the replay. Scezsney in goal, we'll be laughing. Its a fixture we dont need right now, Barca in a fortnight, Carling Cup final next sunday. It could be worse, we could be out all together

Let me just say to start that I am weirdly unbothered by this. Maybe it’s because I really did feel like something like this was probably going to happen, or maybe because I just don’t think it’s that bad a result for us, but I think it’s probably fine. I don’t share Sairax’s hatred of replays, and would certainly have preferred a draw to a loss. The way Wenger is using his lineups at the moment, I actually don’t think fixture congestion is that big of an issue, since the guys who will play in the replay are, I suspect, pretty much the guys who played today, and those guys generally need more, not less, playing time. And I think we should really be able to handle them pretty comfortably at the Emirates. So it’s an extra game for guys that need an extra game, it’s a home match which brings in a couple million pounds of revenue, and it’s an extra couple of hours of my life I can spend watching Arsenal instead of facing reality. Not so bad, really
