Eduardo has the biggest heart

51 weeks ago Eduardo suffered a cruel injury that threatened to end his career. Tonight he took a huge step in his road to recovery.

He is one of the bravest players, if not the bravest, I have ever seen wear an Arsenal shirt.

Physically he is fine. The test was mental. And he passed with flying colours.

Tonight was the biggest test Eduardo would have to face in an Arsenal shirt. He has overcome the first hurdle and is well on the way to completely overcoming his trauma.

Lets be patient with him. He needs time.

But I can't help but be excited by his comeback. What a boost to the club it really is.

Keep it Goonerish...........

He really has a big heart... he acknowledged people who helped him comeback after he scored his second goal.. n the way everyone celebrated his first goal in over a year will remain in our memories for a long time to come..

Hope his return kick starts arsenal's season just like it was before he got injured..

Was his return the reason we played so well? We looked a different team tonight, some of the movement and passing was amazing.

the first 25 mins were amazing! the eduardo comeback was fabulous! the match was great!

vela showed some glimpses of whats to come. gibbs put down another good performance. got to give credit to AW for the team selection, the attacking mentality and creativity might have been the best so far in 2009! (yeayea i know, we played a championship team, but still..)

big step in the right direction, hope the team can keep the momentum vs sunderland and roma.

DUDU!!!!

Never mind saying he is one of the bravest to wear an Arsenal shirt, I say he is the bravest full stop. To have to even walk on his ankle after a break like he had is amazing but to run onto a football pitch where he could get another break quite easily is brave beyond words and I, as a Manchester United supporter, salute him for anything he achieves now.
