Arsenal V Manchester United-The BEST game seen this season

Arsenal and Manchester United games always provide plenty of entertainment and yesterday's clash at the Emirates kept up that trend. The game was the best seen in the Premiership this season and credit is due to both sides for providing us with end to end attacking football. The likes of Chelsea and Liverpool can only dream of playing football like Arsenal and Manchester United can.

Only Arsenal and Manchester United can serve up games of this quality......

I enjoy the pre-match shenanigans and the mind games that both managers like to dish out but Alex Ferguson was gracious in defeat and Arsene Wenger also praised Manchester United for their part in this game which makes a refreshing change from the usual post-match sniping involved.

What yesterdays game proved to me is that Arsenal can beat the best and if we can become more consistent then we have a chance of competing for major honours. What also was proved to me is that Gael Clichy is one of the best left-backs in the world and he kept Ronaldo quiet for long periods of the game. Ashley Cole is a dick-head but he used to have Ronaldo in his pocket, Clichy appears to also be able to handle Ronaldo and that is no mean feat.

Denilson followed up his solid display against Fenerbache with another admirable performance and is becoming a quite reliable partner to Cesc Fabregas. Having said that I still feel that the middle of the park is an area that Arsenal could strengthen in.

I was pleased with the way Arsenal put their foot in and showed plenty of hunger to win the ball back. It's not something we Gooners see often enough in my eyes, the players were well up for it. That is the sort of determination we want to see and its all good and proper doing it against Manchester United, but its the lower teams I want to see us doing it against. I cannot fault the players yesterday though in that respect.

A great win and a great game. It was the perfect Birthday present for me!

Keep it Goonerish............

yeah great game, we have to give gallas some credit he had a great game, the best thing about the game for me was the fight and hunger we showed, all the players were willing to put there foot in, if we can show that hunger in all r games we may still have a chance at winning the league

Someone has come up with a song for Samir Nasri on Lower East

If Nasri performs this well we must give him a song to lift him higher and the team !!!.

i was very impressed by the closing down, delinson showed that he has more than enough ability,if he can handle the the presure dealing manu attacks then i dont see why he cant do better aginst the lesser teams, i was realy impressed by gallas both is defensive performance nad his leadership,if can show that kind leadership on regular basis, arsenal had to withstand alot of attcks from manu and they all stood up well to it and that give them alot confedence

I've always defended Gallas and he was immense yesterday.

He is world class and I'm happy he is a Gunner.

I'd love Vieira back as a player/coach.

He'd have so much to offer the youngsters.

they should be showing the same commitment every game but they dont and in the end it will cost them the title. we need a roy keane type player to give them the stare if they start slacking

Denison was great because he kept it simple, holding his line and no unnecessary charging forward.
4-5-1 works well for Arsenal. I hope Le'Boss continue to use this system. He could use Van persie or Ade as the sole front runner.
With Rosicky fit early next year, he can also rotate in the thre man midfield.

The only reason arsenal even won the game is bcoz of one man who i cannot understand why in this day and age he is still considered by SAF as a good player. Gary Neville cost United this game and he has proved on saturday that he is no longer able to maintain himself at this level. May he retire from football with honour and dignity.

I think we need a song for...4-5-1 and 4-4-1-1!

4-4-2 with RvP makes me sick we get completely overrun in the midfield and the strikers are sitting up front in complete idleness because no creativity

Diaby+ Nasri+Walcott+Denilson+Fabregas gives us options and creativity.

You wrote on my blog last week with some great comments and I just wanted to say that I thought it was an exceptional game of football on Saturday and that I can't argue with the result at all.

I was disappointed with the chances Rooney and Ronaldo missed but enjoyed the game immensely to be honest.

Great game of football and Nasri was superb.
