The pink panther pounces and bounces back!

Nicklas Bendtner seems to ooze confidence and can come across as a cocky chap but I think underneath that brazen exterior is a player low in his self belief at the moment.

The pink boots do him no favours. They give the impression of a flash git and should only be worn by someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, who not only has the talent to pull them off but has the good looks to go with it!

Bendtner has had his critics over his performances in recent games (deservedly so) and I think it has stung him. He has been poor but then so have the whole team.

There can be no doubt he has good quality but he is a young man and his performances will be erratic. He will gain consistency with experience.

I believe he will make it at Arsenal but only if he shows the correct attitude. He has good potential and the way he took his goal last night showed the talent the lad has.

The goal was a timely boost for him. Hopefully he can kick on from here and show Gooners the reason Arsene Wenger has placed his trust in him.

Keep it Goonerish................

I do believe you're right.

Wrighty 7.... I believe that Nikki is wearing pink boots in aid of a children's charity, if this is the case then surely we are going slightly overboard with all the criticism?

If thats the case Truth then yes!

Wrighty7 - thanks for the post. I think you mean "exude" confidence rather than exclude. Let's hope Bentner can sought himself out and keep up this form. Perhaps he is like Ole was at manu and should be only utilised as a super sub ?

them boots have nothing to do with charity, check the adverts for them, the pink panthers, they are 120note a pair in niketown,no charity!

Yes I would prefer Bendtner to "exude" confidence rather than exclude it, which would be tragic. By the same token I would prefer that he sorts himself out. Could do without him looking for himself in the past (sought)!

To be honest Bendtner looks far too clumsy to me but he's only 20 and taking a very close example, where was Adebayor at 20 (although I actually don't think Adebayor's that great now either, but a very good striker nevertheless).

Bendtner will leave Arsenal in January. Seriously. Mikael Laudrup wants him to play for Spartak Moscow. And Nicklas' agents are already in negotiations with the club. There's much talk about it here, in Moscow, in many newspapers.. So we'd better get some cash for him and bring a new partner to Cesc in midfield.

Good for NikkiB last night. People forget how young he is - & his first 30 appearances in an Arsenal shirt have been far more impressive than Walcott's early showings.

I believe Bendtner is wearing pink boots because pink is his favorite color.

I think Nic takes too many chances to score. No doubt he is a Danish international but his scoring record needs to improve.
Btw AW says Arsenal have turned the corner. Well the jury is still out. The next couple of weeks will confirm the truth about the gunners. Lose against Pool and Chelsea and it will be I told you so about the kids.
But again football is an unpredictable game and to say the gunners will have no chance is being disrespectful but the odds are agaginst them and the bookies are invariably correct most times.
Now is the chance for the young gunnners to prove themselves and vindicate AW's policy of youth over finished product.Anyway it's along way to go.

Benders problems all seem to start when Adebyor started cunting him off.

He's a decent player who can only get better, he gets himself into decent positions and just needs to take a few more chances.

Also I think he probably works better with another striker, he likes to sit deeper sometimes and can be more effective there, like his spell at Birmingham.

Him and Eduardo could be a decent front pair.

cuntchops

Bendtner HAD a brilliant understanding with Eduardo and they both played arguaby their best football when played together. Nik is only 20 and has been playing in the lone striker role for the first time, and in a team doing shite at the moment, so im not counting him out just yet.

As far as I know he is wearing the Pink boots because he has a sponcership deal with Nike and its them who chose the players that wear them. Nothing to do with him I think.
