I'M SORRY

I posted an article about Samir Nasri signing for Arsenal. The title was EXCLUSIVE:Nasri signs for Arsenal.

It wasn't an exclusive so I apologise for the head-line being slightly misleading. I was excited by the news and didn't really think about the title at the time of writing.

It was obvious that the news would be picked up pretty quick so it was far from an exclusive.

But he has signed and that is great news for Arsenal and nice to see another signing for the summer.

Once again, I'm sorry.

Keep it Goonerish.........

Are you serious? Most of the people who visit these blogs will complain at the drop of a hat! Someone should design a 'positive vibes filter' much like Rocky's NewsNow filter that gets rid of the doom merchants...

Yeah, no worries Wrighty.

Has anyone else heard about this supposed 13.5 million pound buyout clause in his contract? If this is true, I'm even more nervous about this signing than before, when I just thought Nasri would play a year or two with us until his name was built up and then engineer a transfer to our apparent predator clubs, Barca/Milan/Madrid/Inter etc.

It has been removed from his website and sky sports are now saying this

"While the 20-year-old looks set to become Wenger's second capture of the summer following teenager Aaron Ramsey's switch from Cardiff City, Marseille have claimed the deal has yet to be rubber-stamped.

Marseille spokeswoman Nathalie Paoli, reached on Monday by The Associated Press, said: "The deal still has to be finalized between Arsenal and Olympique Marseille."

Arsenal are geo techs of football, that is, they play football in a series of geometric shapes TRIANGLES, SQUARES, geared towards perfect conditions that suitably shape our players into STARS, and run CIRCLES around opposition. But we lack in certain domains such as height and the physical.

As a general rule we'll assume that height and stature determines how physical or how technical the team is. So it is unsurprising that Arsenal are technically gifted. It follows that these players are

All under SIX FOOT...
NASRI, FAB, HELB, ROSICKY, WALCOTT, RAMSEY, EBOUE, SAGNA, CLICHY, EDUARDO, VELA

Just about SIX FOOT...
KOLO, VP, GALLAS, SONG

One of the tallest in the squad ADE, who has been a mixture of strength of goals could be on his way out. One of our propositions is to replace him with VILLA another below 6. On the other hand I rate VILLA more than ADE.

Wenger has motioned that we do not need defensive cover.
Take this for example, the smaller the goal keeper is, the more skill they must possess to stand out. I believe the rule generally follows especially for defensive players who not only have to deal with ground work but also arial breeches. So since Wenger is not buying defensively, expect arsenal to concede as many as our last outing.

But it seems so far (with the signings Nasri, Ramsey and current transfer talk) that Wenger believes that our problems last year were that we were not technical enough.

The buying of technically gifted players is causing an imbalance to the squad. All to the good if it ever works, but the disadvantages when this geo tech football is limited by pitch conditions, weather, and counter geo football are phenomenal - as we have witnessed time and time again.

There well be certain teams that will be suited in stifling of style of play. In Wengers defense he will state that the team tactics are promoting negative football. Whilst some teams play to draw one things for sure. No team plays to lose.

Mr Moy;

That was some seriously good shit fella.

The problem with this style of play is not only that it can fall apart depending what team we play and the way they play against us (Birmingham home and away) and the state of the pitch (Wigan away) but also it seems to need the majority of players to be in form, as we rarely seem to be able to grind out results when playing poorly. Unlike Chavs and United.

The deal has not been don yet no matter how excited we get, no matter how many gooners try to make you feel better for being a misinformer and no matter how many times it is announced by silly blogs. It is only a deal when it appears on Arsenal.com. Keep the faith. In Arsene We Trust
