Yayawwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnn!!.......

I could have joined Arsenal, Wenger begged me, my brother pleaded with me, BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH! Frankly Yaya I don't care anymore.

I would have loved Le Boss to have signed you in the summer, lord knows I've spoke about it on my blog more than enough times!

But the reality is the signing never happened and probably never will happen.

I know why you have revealed that you snubbed Arsenal. It's because you are warming the bench at Barca and you want to show your loyalty to the club. You want to play. Clever really.

But in fairness I wont knock a loyal player, there aren't enough of those about and you have to admire Yaya. He certainly has a great attitude and won't give in easily at Barca.

Keep it Goonerish..............

He can **** off.

On the other hand, we do need a DM.

Song, Denilson, Eboue and Diaby - big question marks....

I hope Wenger sorts his shit out.

at least anyone who slags wenger off for not spending now knows hes tried to buy at least 3 defensive midfielders all around the 15 million mark. so we cant moan about that now.

last night song looked to me like he was more than capable of doing the job of DM! any one agree? i would like to see him given a shot, i just dont think in tough games denilson and fabregas will work they are both attack minded! song goes in strong and fears nothing. i say he will do until january? and then just need back up.

Good point Tiny.

I'm gonna write about that mate.

Spot on Wrighty!!!! I would have loved to have him at Arsenal, but if he thinks that he has become bigger than Arsenal by snubbing us and then revealing it...In that case, he can fu*k off, and can keep, sucking Guardiola's balls.

And tiny is right, he can't blame wenger for not singing a DM, but I think Wenger understands the need to bring a DM, and I think he will bring one in January.

And last night, Eboue didn't start and we nearly lost!!! and the player we all have been crying for to start--Song, did start........ Wenger does know wayyyy better than us.

forget yaya now ,get stephen appiah then miguel veloso or yaya or alonso later

we wont get appiah now wenger has had him on trial and deemed him not good enough to warrant being offered a contract, looks like we'll have to make do again...

song's inclusion was NOTHING to do with why we lost. he was one of our few players who was good from start to finish until he came off and as soon as he went off our midfield collapsed defensively.

song was very good last night and certainly deserves the chance to start alongside fabregas in a FOUR man midfield vs bolton.

nearly lost* typo

song is decent at dm, but we're just not deep enough. two more signings needed to challenge on all fronts. now that citeh is setting up shop... not that i know shyte but santi cazorla and jean makoun absolutely make the grade for me, wud be great to see them at the arse.

My overwhelming feeling last night after Kiev scored (never a pen) was that we didn't appear to have anyone on the bench who could really change the game. We will get exposed later in the season for not adding to the squad substantially. Although we know that Wenger tried to sign some players, the fact is it didn't happen. January is a long way off, and the price is always higher then, or I am wrong? I guess Diarra was a steal at £2M, and a tidy profit at £5.5M, but otherwise it doesn't usually happen. Basically, if we're doing well like last season, then Wenger won't add anyone. It should have happened in the summer.
Having said that Rosicky and Eduardo coming back could be a major lift for everyone, and we might have enough if we don't get the level of injuries as last season.

I don't think we need to buy anyone. We have enough cover and our squad will be further boosted by players returning from injury. If we bought more players then that would create too much competition for starting places and I fear some our our players may want to leave if that is the case. People say we are short in defensive midfield but actually I think Song, Diaby and Denilson are better than most of the players we have been linked with this summer.
Song is better than most people think. He played brilliant for us yesterday and when is was subbed we lost all cohesion in the second half. Song is brilliant when we need some steel in midfield for when teams try to stifle our play and in those situations Walcott is clearly not suitable to start and I would much rather have Eboue start with Walcott coming on after an hour.

I was actually disappointed when Eboue wasn't in the starting line up because he's played well in the last few games and we didn't have Nasri or Rosicky and it would mean that Van Persie plays on the wing.

Anyone who watched the match could see that it was never a penalty.
Last nite we were shackeled by a combination of rough tactics and very poor refereeing. Van Persie and Walcott were subject to challenges that were yellow card offences yet the referee failed to control the game to avoid these foul plays. Credit to our players because they tried to stay on their feet. Only when players (especially in the case of Kiev's players who kept going to ground cynically) went down did the referee take any action.
So all in all, a draw was probably the best we could have gotten out of that game. Credit to our players, you can't win every match.

To all you Eboue bashers: Open your fucking eyes and forget the past because Eboue is starting to play really well and showing some of the promise in his early career. You all forget that he started his career at right back and he was actually very good in that position. When he was moved to right midfield he had to find his feet if you like which is totally understandable. It is also encouraging to see that instead of taking a dive he is staying on his feet and playing on. Well done boy.

I agree with Jav,
Give Eboue and the team a break
Everyone said (including wenger) that getting 2 wins and a draw this week would be a great result. As long as we beat Bolton on the weekend (I think we will) we have accomplished that goal.
I also agree with Tiny, Wenger did try to bring in a number of players, but they all snubbed such a move.
Stop moaning and support the team
