Arsene targets England defender?!
Apparently Arsenal have been keeping an eye on Everton defender Joleon Lescott. Wenger had him watched while he was at Wolves and would be keen on him. Lescott isn't a top earner at Everton and has 2 and a half years left on his contract...I cant see this happening, surely Wenger would have put in a bid when he was available at Wolves? Good player, but isn't better than anyone we currently have...

He's got a useful left foot on him. Could give us balance at centre half? He seems to be very good at defending and attacking set-pieces. Im all for him signing. I'd rather have him than Senderos. He could be a good option for us as he can also provide cover at left back if needed. If the price is senseable then it could be a good deal.
He looks like a Klingon but he's a decent player, not sure where he'd fit in when Gallas and Toure are both fit though. He can play full back but he's a centre half. I don't see why he'd leave Everton to play with a bunch of tossers either.
Spuds cant tempt anyone with One Day we will.............
Woody might become a Gunner as we need cover in that position (CB).
