Bob Wilson OBE

I'm gonna take the chance to congratulate Bob Wilson on receiving an OBE on the New Years honours list. The former Arsenal and Scotland goalkeeper will no doubt be thrilled, although slightly embarrassed about receiving this recognition. He works tirelessly for a charity called Willow Foundation, which is for ill adults set up after the death of daughter Anna.
He made over 300 appearances for Arsenal, and 2 for Scotland having previously played for England under 15's! After retiring as a player, he worked as a coach and then as a broadcaster, presenting for around 28 years. Let's not forget he coached at Arsenal for 28 years too!! Coaching goalkeepers like Seaman, Jennings and Lukic, he retired in the 2002/03 season.
I'm sure all the Gooners in the world would like to congratulate Mr Wilson in this honour and his legendry status at the club. Well done Bob! U deserve it.
