Could this man be Arsenal's next manager?....

Slaven Bilic anyone???.....

It's hard to say it but one day Le Boss will not be Arsenal manager anymore. I feel that this contract Le Boss is on will be his last at Arsenal.

I think it runs out in 2011 so we have a couple of years left from Arsene Wenger at the club (in my personal opinion)

Life will be very strange without Arsene Wenger and the hole he will leave behind will be massive. It will need a special type of person to fill the void and I believe that man could be Slaven Bilic.

I know he has no ties with Arsenal but in my eye's the Croatian is perfect for the job. I really rate and like the fella.

His Croatia team play good football and we Gooners have become accustomed to a side pretty on the eye. Bilic will provide this.

He is very good with the media and always conducts himself very well. He was humble in defeat to England in his post match interview and comes across as a very straight talking guy.

I'm sure Le Boss will have a lot of input into his successor at Arsenal. And I'm sure that he would give Bilic the thumbs up. I know Eduardo would! He and Bilic have a father and son relationship.

Nobody has a bad word to say about the guy and I honestly reckon that he is going to be a world-class manager.

This subject is not something that I like to think about but it's reality. One day Le Boss will be gone and he will leave a huge legacy.

The club will be in great shape and Arsenal will need a man brave enough and good enough to continue Arsene Wenger's legendary work.

When the time comes that man for me is Slaven Bilic. Slaven Bilic is a winner.

Keep it Goonerish.............

What?
Bilic?
The guy that mouths off how great his team is how they will win & then gets stuffed? (Euro's & yesterday)
The player who cheated & faked an injury in a World Cup final and got Blanc sent off to make him miss the final?
The ex-WestHam player who nearly broke Bergkamps leg with a challenge just as bad as that on Eduardo?

Great choice.
Another pants blog from you!

Bilic would be ideal for all the reasons that you have said.

I think the same Wrighty. Him or Bergkamp.

Considering Bergkamp doesn't like flying I think Bilic is the right man!

Keep up the good work.

AND THERE ARE NO GOOD ENGLISH MANAGERS

looking at blunderland there aint no good irish managers

Wow Wrighty, doesn't pay to have a view these days does..... I think Bilic is a good manager, but personally I would like to see Guus Hudink or Van Basten - even Rikkard, however, the brighter option would be Tony Adams and Dennis working side by side, master of the forwards and master of the defence :)

Arsene though, I think he will extend his contact beyond 2011 :)

Wrighty - Ignore the idiots

I think Henry with Adams would be a good choice.

nah not for me, i would like martin o'neill, only manager in prem ive seen improve young players, plays fast attacking football, experience (in prem and with celtic in CL). o'neill is the man to take over when wenger retires.

Steve Bould? or Patrick Vieira. failing that someone like van Basten. there has to be a reason why wenger did not involve TA at the club. We saw TA make a hash of management - maybe he is still learning. could you ever see TA brining through a Cesc Fabreagas?!? no. Thats why Van B might be a choice or DB and he'll need a no2 to do Euro away games. i wouldn't rule him out on that basis.

Don't post often here- but for the record this is a top quality blog.
Anonymous people make comments which are worthy of their anonimity.

Keep up the good work Wrighty7. Bilic? Maybe- but I feel Arsene will be here after 2011.

Poor blog. Writing for the sake of it.

Try and keep the quality there or people will walk away.

This is the man who cheated to get blanc sent off in the world cup semi and so missing the final no way, van basten/bergkamp dream team please.

I believe that Arsene has already suggested 'Southgate from Boro' to the board, with Tony Adams as number two.

My own personal choice would be the above or Steve Coppell with them.

What Rubbish!

Really???? Wat has he won as a player or a manager.... er... NOTHING.

I met Danny Fiszman on a plan from Luton to Zurich the day after a european match last year (would believe the multimillionaire flies easyjet!) We talked for a couple of hours in the best plane journey of my life, and I asked about Arsene's successor, he said that the selection was in Arsene's hands, as well as in his contract (not inferring thiswould be his last one in any way) They haven't made the decision if it was going to come internally or externally.

I said I favoured internally, creating a shankly at liverpool type dynasty, and Danny suggested that is where their thinking lies, they just need to make sure that the quality is there.

Boro Primovic (spelling?) is a likely candidate - he was offered the monaco manager's job last year, with Steve Bould to follow on afterwards, and maybe - could you imagine it? Liam Brady managing the Arse?!

Also, a lot of people don't realise that Fiszman is almost exclusively the reason that the stadium was built. It was his idea, he was the project leader and he worked on it from 5am until 11pm every night for three years.

He got into football by accident and is as passionate about arsenal as any season ticket holder - you couldn't wish for a better chairman.

Mmmm i like the thought of Boro, but i think hes similar age of Arsene isnt he?

My first thought would again be Dennis or Tony, but as we all come to know and love about AW, it will probably be some unknown from a J league, sound fimiliar?

Van Basten or Bilic would be ideal, and you cant judge Slaven from his playing days, you can tell he is alot more mature and focused on making players better ones....and he loves playing attacking football.

lol i think if we win any silverwear until his otract end he will sign again beacause it will be hard for to walk out on us after such a long time but i think that if anything happens and hes not the arsenal manager for some reason, Par rice is the only man to coach us beacause he know wenger's ways the best and will be able to do as good job as wenger did.

Anonymous said...

lol i ment pat rice

Anonymous said...

Pat Rice is a number 2

Adams and Dennis in 5 years depending on experience/ results in respective clubs may work - Don't want the Croat. A goodfella by all accounts but doesn't fit the Arsenal creds

Anonymous said...

Marco van Basten

Does no one seem to think that maybe giles grimandi?
he is the one that looks for the talent!!
Wenger has also managed him therefore surely he has taken in what he has heard???

Hi, Marcus says,
Bilic would be perfect as the next Wenger, I mean allready hes gotten hammered by his biggest rival and hadnt a clue whaat to do or how to change things. Wenger does that quite a few times every season now. Time to go Wenger

The rest of the big names are tied down at great clubs and forget about Scolari, look what he did at Chelsea.
