I think this is an excellent idea and I'm 100% fully behind it.
Now I know over the years us Gooners have suffered with a tag of being, well, quiet. But that could change and that means needing all the help we can get from yourselves.
There is no doubt that there will be further ridicule from other clubs fans for doing this. Just ignore it. We've had it for years so a little more wont hurt.
What we need is ideas on how to turn the Emirates into a very intimidating atmosphere. When the place is rocking, there isn't an atmosphere better, anywhere. Thats what we want more of.
We get 60,000 people week-in, week-out at the Emirates and for rival fans to claim our ground is one of the quietest around is slightly embarassing. Its time to do something about it!
There have been many ideas bandied about. My favourites are to unleash a massive Arsenal flag before the game and pass it around the stadium. My other is for every Gooner in the ground to simply start to clap. This creates an eerie atmosphere which can shit the life out of the opposition!
So leave your ideas in the comments section. No matter how mad they may sound. Its important that my fellow Gooner voices are heard! (or not) excuse the pun! Many thanks to the guys at Le Grove for doing this, but they need help. So c'mon!
Keep it Goonerish......

Le Grove is crap but I will clap if i am there.
How about scrap the middle tier if the corprat's can't be bothered to come out till 5 mins after kick of they don't deserve a seat, and sell the seats to some of the 40,000 who what to sing!
Make the price of a beer cheaper?
Give fans who want to sing the chance to move seats.
sure ye have nothin to shout about....lol. lost the league lost the cc lost the fa an will be soon out of cl, stupid article.......oh is oh so quiet.........coys
This is a worthy cause. I suggest having a man/woman with a megaphone shouting out songs and chants?
How about Play the spuds every week 3pts every game! Always makes me sing!!!
Anon 19:10, go back to your cage. This is a good article and should be taken seriously. Nice one Wrighty7
We should fuck the corperates off and let the REAL fans in.
Le Grove is a really disgusting site (if you have a different opinion than them, your posts get deleted and you get called a cunt); a giant flag would indeed be nice
shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ill be quiet
i happened to be in Athens for the Olympiakos - Chelsea game and a friend had tickets, i can honestly tell you we can learn a few things from the greek fans, they were unbelievable.
Ya i thought i was the only 1 who hated Le Grove, I left a comment critising a sensational headline, but i did it respectfully - the abuse was unbelieveable - they even referred to it in following mornings blog!
1.How about kicking some away fans asses..
2.Throwing away lots of torn emirate posters.
3.And everyone yelling "DIKCTHON DIKCTHON" (bullet sound)with a gun in hand.
A massive Gunners flag would be a good idea but wouldnt raise noise level at the Emirates. We need to turn the volume up on the speakers and have an atmosphere cd played for 90 mins to go with the noise already created. I dont think Elvis Pressleys song at the start gets fans in the mood - it should have been a more intimidated song or tune, the one at Sunderland is good, march of the knights i think its called or dance of the knights
Ok ok this isn't a Le Grove knocking site! Lets keep to the subject please Gooners!
This is something that has to be in conjunction with Arsenal FC. We need a pre game psyche up. Every week we need to be reminded of what it means to be a gooner. If they won't do it, we need an official person who goes into each section stirring the crowd with past names, telling the fans what it means to be here, to be a gooner. There is a strong tradition with Arsenal FC. We need someone with the passion and the access to all areas to come out loud and proud. Everyone needs to be reminded sometimes that we in fact are the one and only MIGHTY GOONERS!!Playing the best football, supporting the best most stylish
team there is.
Le grove is shite. This blogs much better.
How about non-stop whistling and booing when the other team have the ball?
was asking a few pals whist blagging a ticket for next sat, some said how about a site with new chants posted for each game? There are often some very funny ones that are only relevent for one game, and so most of the crowd don't get to hear them.
There always seems to be pockets of noise in different sections of the ground. These then ripple around the stadium. If some how each song could be started at the same time all around the ground, then the noise would be more concentrated. I'm guessing the PA system isn't going to bang out ....The wanky tottenham hotspud went to rome to see the pope, Though?
But at the end of the day the general consenes was that it is really down to us. We just need to get of our Arses! But as we all know if you standup to sing some one will always tell you to sit down!!!
Best of going away if you want to really sing your heart out for the lads.
Northbank great idea mate. Wrighty what do you think? That sounds like a winner to me.
I think its a great idea. I'll pass all the ideas on.
Sorry Wrighty7 but le grove does offend a lot of arsenal fans... totally agree with anonymous 28th 19:30... But this is le grove's most positive move yet. Im all with them on this one.
hahabig stadium 60 000 an quietest atmosphere..anyer mockin spurs ground whih has moree atmoshere then the emerites will evetr have ......we have a cup arse have nothin again
Yup, Wrighty, Ignore them. I have already recognised one of the people who has left a comment... (Coys) :P
I am right behind Pedro's Motive, Even though im an aussie. Im thinking about running a small campaign over here with shirts, and i am searching for some other ideas as well.
Keep up the Good work mate!
Thats brilliant Ollie. Keep up flying the Gooner flag in Australia mate!
Nice one Wrighty!
Its about time we did something to make a difference!
Lets see if we can nick a goal in the last 10 minutes!
Come on Arsenal!
Like it or not the Elvis song is played just before the team comes out.....so EVERYONE get your scarves up so there is a sea of red & white as our boys run out on to the pitch.
Then be brave...sing your hearts out even if all around you have taken a vow of silence! Maybe, just maybe, they'll join in.
(great idea to have a site with chants posted before each game.)
Come on, let's make some noise!!!
